I had not used the 13 inch OLED display module for months since when I first started using it. I made several blog post on it like Beginner's Guide to Testing an OLED Display with Arduino. Today I wanted to use it with Arduino Due board but it did not work. The OLED LCD was displaying nothing after power and data line connection. I tried to power up using both Arduino +5V, +3V with ground and also tried using independent power +5V DC power supply on breadboard. It just did not work. I also changed Arduino Due to Arduino Uno. I checked the voltage at the OLED module power supply pins and there was voltage but no display. I checked the PCB board and the components closer using magnifying glass but I could not find anything.
I was about to give up but when I tried with the reset button the display start working. Texts were displayed as programmed into Arduino Due. This was a relief. Now the OLED LCD with Arduino Due is perfectly working.
So if you any problem with OLED display displaying nothing, then try by pressing on the reset button on the Arduino or other microcontroller board you have attached to the OLED display module.
